Spring Valley is an unincorporated township that came together in 1981, sitting directly south of Summerlin and west of the Strip. Its housing is largely 1990s and 2000s era, which puts it in a middle zone: established enough for mature landscaping, dense enough for shared-wall pest problems.
Spring Valley contains a significant stretch of Las Vegas Chinatown, a roughly four-mile commercial corridor along Spring Mountain Road. Concentrated restaurant and food-service density is a well-recognised driver of cockroach and rodent pressure in any city, and it affects the residential blocks around it as much as the businesses themselves.
For commercial kitchens and the apartments near them, German cockroaches are the recurring problem. They are not solved by spraying baseboards. They need gel baiting, crack-and-crevice work, and sanitation changes, repeated on a schedule until the population collapses.
In condos, townhomes and apartments, treating one unit rarely ends an infestation, because roaches and bed bugs travel through shared wall voids and plumbing chases. We inspect adjoining units wherever we can get access and treat the void space, not just the visible surfaces.
Spring Valley’s 1990s and 2000s neighborhoods now carry decades of tree growth. The Southern Nevada Health District attributes valley roof rat prevalence to that specific mix of dense palms and cypress, year-round irrigation and pool water, fruit trees and pet food, and very few predators. The district has trapped nearly 200 roof rats across 35 valley ZIP codes since 2003 and is explicit that it does not do extermination itself.
Roof rats get into attics along overhanging branches and utility lines. The fix is trimming, sealing roofline gaps and vents, and trapping — in that order. Under Nevada rules, outdoor above-ground bait must be in tamper-resistant stations within fifty feet of the building, and consumer-grade loose pellets are prohibited.

I had a wasp issue near my pool, coming from an unknown location that I had tried every commercial trap and remedy on for 2 years without success. We couldn’t even use our pool anymore. These guy came out one time and I haven’t seen a wasp since! They were very informative and professional and have checked in on us a few times to make sure the wasps haven’t come back. Can’t say enough great things about them! They have saved our backyard!
